Looking for quick, fresh, delicious food? This is the place! I was hoping to avoid any chain restaurants during my visit to Chicago but I was in a time crunch midday and surrounded by fast food and pizza places. This was satisfying to my healthy eating habits and also a great option for my vegetarian colleague. I had a hot portobello sandwich and added turkey. The only downside was it was so greasy from the peppers and cheese it fell apart before I was halfway done. Good overall lunch spot!

I grew up in Queens, NY and worked in deli's growing up. In NYC and Long Island people will refuse cold cuts that aren't boars head in my experience. They originally from Brooklyn, NY. I mean they're consistent good quality and they have premium products. Usually prosciutto and certain cheese I prefer imported. So we received a large order from my office. I had the beef wrap and it was tasty. Thin sliced, nice balance of veggies, protein and sauce. We order from them regularly. Gotta make sure I grab one of their boxes again.

Holy crap, i couldn't believe this was actually a thing. I never knew there was a boars head cafe... Justwondering around downtown chicago and this popped up for breakfast. The had a good selection of foods to be made. I had a breakfast sandiwch and the fresh fruit cup. fruit was great like it should be. We did order some toast and a side of meat. Suprised they did all of this. I thought it was a unique place to visit. 5 stars just because i've always seen the brand. Never knew it was a cafe. Probably should be 3 stars really. Just awesome.

I stopped in with a friend for a lunch salad. The harvest salad is the absolute best blend of fruit and veggies. I got the larger size and I'm glad I did. I want to try a sandwich/salad combo on my next visit. Service is really good and they have outdoor seating. I will return very soon. It's a bit pricey for the food, but all food is very expensive these days. If it was a little cheaper, I would visit more often.

Cafe Italian sandwich was huge and delicious, but the tomatoes were also huge so next time would ask for those to be removed. The Mediterranean Caprese Pasta was just pesto pasta so good, but not exactly as expected.

A little embarrassed to have just discovered this cafe. I have been taking the longest drive to the southern suburbs to get my favorite hummus. I had no idea I could grab it from this cafe which is waaay closer. I tried a rueben, a corned beef and a build-your-own ham and turkey all on marbled rye with mustard. Boars Head is a quality meat which makes a great sandwich. Each whole sandwich comes with your choice of chips or a small pasta side. I chose the Mediterranean and it was pretty good. I also got the fresh squeezed orange juice and the roasted red pepper hummus!
